50KVA Solar Power Plant at Nsukka
The Challenge
Ritewaters water factory has been facing a lot of power challenges since inception. The grid power was irregular, and the average daily power supply was just about 2-4 hours. The factory had to use generator most of the time to augment for the epileptic power supply. This also led to higher cost of production due to expensive diesel cost.
Our Solution
When Zangosolar was contacted to provide solution for this problem, we listened to the client and immediately asked some vital questions when then lead to sending our engineers to the site for a physical site survey. We discovered after the survey that the power demand of the client would require a modification on our standard 50KVA Power Plant System. We had to increase the number of panels and a little more modification to get a suitable system for him. We also confirmed during the survey that his factory does not require a carport structure for the panels. These finding gave rise to the final engineering design and the work plan that was adoption for the 50KVA plant that was built.
How We Delivered
Load Assessment & Site Survey
Our engineers audited energy consumption across all production lines and measured available space to design an optimal panel layout.
Custom System Design
We designed a 50kVA system with 61.2KWH battery backup, sized precisely for the factory to run for full day factory operations and maintain basic loads like lightings, cameras and other smaller loads at night and still maintaining 24 hours power supply in the factory.
Professional Installation
Our certified technicians completed the installation of the solar panels, inverters, and battery banks within four weeks, ensuring smooth execution without interrupting daily production operations.
Monitoring & Handover
The remote monitoring system was successfully deployed, and staff members were trained on routine system monitoring and basic maintenance procedures.
Results
